Lightning is a natural phenomenon, required in nature to rebalance the energy that constantly accumulates between the atmosphere and the Earth’s surface (electric poles).
hen this energy or, more specifically, the energy differential that forms betweens these two poles, reaches a level that exceeds the dielettric constant of air, it causes lightning to form that rebalances everything.
TheENERG1CA® LPS systems (Lightning Protection Systems) intervene well in advance. In fact, they are always working to discharge the electricity in the air.
Consequently, when a storm occurs, the area around the building, protected by our systems, never reaches that energy differential and prevents lightning from forming

OUR ENERG1CA® DEVICES
The devices in the ENERG1CA® family are used to size the lighting protection systems.
There are two areas of intervention by our protection systems: downward and upward lightning
AERIAL PROTECTION
- Air heads, passive multi-range antennas, with different action ranges, designed to prevent downward lightning strikes
- A family of Air-blocking filter which, when connected to the Aerial heads, intervene on dangerous frequencies;
- A product family to align the protective action of the heads to the specific layout of the building
GROUND PROTECTION
- A family of Earth Boxes, also with different dissipative potential, protect the building from upward lightning strikes.
